20 Worst Movies Of 2014

4. I, Frankenstein

Rotten Tomatoes: 3% For a while everyone was obsessed with the idea of reimagining literary classics with new narrative tools and inventive new premises - with Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter leading the way. I, Frankenstein belongs on the same pile, and unfortunately the execution is utterly at odds with the spirited idea behind it. It is boring, all too heavy on some pretty poor CGI and fatally manages to take one of the most arresting and engaging characters in the history of literature and film and suck all of the life put in by his creator. Sample Review:
"He's alive! But you might wish he wasn't after seeing this knuckle-headed fantasy." James Mottram, Total Film
