20 Worst Movies Of 2014

3. Transformers: Age Of Extinction

Rotten Tomatoes: 18% Unsurprisingly, Michael Bay didn't make another great Transformers film in 2014. The same year that he thought it would be a good idea to destroy everyone's childhoods with his take on the Turtles saw the provocatively frustrating director added a fourth to the robot franchise. Thankfully there was less of the lingering (pervy) voyeuristic shots of scantily clad female bodies and no giant robo-genitalia, but it was still a vulgar, over-loud mess of CGI and action that missed an opportunity to fan-bait with the Dinobots by welcoming Bay back as director after he initially said he wasn't keen. That remains one of the greatest shames of the year considering another film under his control is certain. Sample Review:
"You're either awestruck, dumbstruck or just plain struck in the face."
