20 Worst Movies Of 2014

20. Grace Of Monaco

Rotten Tomatoes: 9% A film so in love with its star and her unfeasibly perfect complexion that it fundamentally failed to do anything but lovingly capture it in close-up, and missed the fact that she wasn't ever actually suited to the role of Grace Kelly. Nicole Kidman is supremely talented in the right roles, but she has her limits, and working with a clunky script that somehow topped the Black List is beyond that boundary. It's contrived, appalling, and offensively bad, which director Oliver Dahan blamed on Harvey Weinstein for his interference and over-zealous editing. Either way it's hard to imagine that the director's cut could have been much better. Sample Review:
"This bubble-headed biopic exudes awfulness through its every perfumed and pampered pore." David Jenkins, Little White Lies
