Rotten Tomatoes: 33% Seth MacFarlane is a prodigiously talented comic writer; his animations are a triumph and a perfect storm of pitch-perfect political and social commentary and flat-out silliness, and he's capable of great feats of comedy. Sadly, his work isn't always great and even the most tried and trusted formula can fail badly - see The Cleveland Show. In A Million Ways... MacFarlane's nostalgic eye is hard at work, and the observations are impressive and engaging, but the script is hogwash, the thrills unreasonably restrained and the entertainment pretty far of the mark. Roll on Ted 2. Sample Review:
"Yes, there are a million ways to die in the west. Boredom shouldn't be one of them." Dave McGinn, Globe And Mail
