20 Worst Movies Of 2014

15. Atlas Shrugged, Part III: Who Is John Galt?

Rotten Tomatoes: 0% There's a good chance your brain wiped this entire franchise out of existence, and for good reason. Starting from a terrible foundation, the second film was inferior again, and this pretentious, impenetrable stinker was the worst of the lot - which is in fact quite an achievement. All of the politics involved are bad enough - this is after all the poster property for a certain type of sociopath - but they take second place to the very real, unignorable problems with the film-making process itself. Clearly it had to be released for completists, but you'd be forgiven for shrugging yourself (though that may be too restrained a response for some). Sample Review:
"Rand's parable is meant to showcase just how much our world needs the best of us, but this adaptation only does so accidentally -- by revealing what movies would be like if none of the best of us worked on them." Alan Scherstuhl, Village Voice
