Rotten Tomatoes: 15% It takes serious cojones to adapt something that has already been adapted terribly, but that is exactly what Shana Feste did with this second go at Scott Spencer's sickly sweet novel. For some reason Feste chose to look beyond the source material, straying fatally to the extent that the finished product is in fact worse than the first attempt to adapt it. Endless Love is of that bitterly enduring school of romantic film-making that entirely mistreats its audience and denies them the very thing they want: a compelling teary romance that doesn't compromise on substance or impact. Instead this is bland, restrained ickiness at its worst, and there are very few who will find anything positive to take away. Sample Review:
