5. xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage

Some characters should have the decency to stay unreturned.

Vin Diesel might well have one of the top five strongest personal brands in Hollywood thanks to the Fast & Furious franchise, despite the fact that he's far from the best part of that series. Sure, he's also Groot, but when he turns up in terrible action slop like this unnecessary threequel you have to really question why he's so popular.

And it's not like the xXx franchise even warranted extension beyond being an excuse to get more Diesel on screen. Illogically, it made a boatload of money in international territories (after just $45m in the US), so there's probably going to be even more of this same brand of mind-numbing bro-action. Expect it on the equivalent list of bad movies whenever it comes out.
