20 Worst Movies Of 2022
14. Moonfall
Okay, nobody was expecting Moonfall to be groundbreaking. Considering Roland Emmerich’s latest project centres around humanity fighting the moon, we were anticipating a schlocky B-movie.
To no one's surprise, Moonfall has all the stock characters, contrived conflicts, out-of-place humour, and shoddy dialogue you’d expect.
However, this disaster flick is way, way, way crazier than you would ever fathom. Once Moonfall introduces alien AI, white dwarf-powered moons, an intergalactic version of Noah’s Ark, and ancient humans on other worlds, it feels like you’re watching a completely different movie. Also, you can't help but laugh when you see the moon loom over a mountain at our ensemble like it's Godzilla.
If you were hoping Moonfall would be “so bad it's good”, it isn't. It's so bad, it's just bad. In fact, Moonfall is so dull and inane, it easily qualifies as Emmerich’s worst movie.
