20 Worst Netflix Original Movies EVER

14. The Kissing Booth Trilogy

Rather than clog up three entries on this list with The Kissing Booth trilogy, let's lump them all together, because they're basically all around the same degree of awful anyway, right?

Adapted from Beth Reekles' popular trilogy of YA romance novels, these movies are so aggressively generic and soulless concoctions it's tough to accept they weren't written by an algorithm, but indeed a flesh-and-blood human being.

Joey King, a solid actress in her own right, is criminally wasted in these cliched, sappy, arguably sexist, and thoroughly dated romance stories, which are very obviously written and directed by men.

To make matters worse they aren't even brief - The Kissing Booth 2 is bafflingly 131 minutes long - and each gets worse than the one before it. Life's too short for this.
