20 Worst Netflix Original Movies EVER
13. Coffee & Kareem
On paper, streaming actually feels like a pretty snug fit for reinventing the buddy cop movie - a genre which is likely to struggle theatrically in the current cinematic landscape.
But not like this. Not like Coffee & Kareem.
The title of Michael Dowse's (Goon, Stuber) lame-brained action-comedy at least lets you know what to expect from the jump - a limp throwback to '90s buddy actioners majorly lacking in charm and humour.
The single saving grace here is Betty Gilpin's wild, swinging-for-the-fences performance in the villain role, but otherwise this is beige white noise that exited the minds of most within days - if not hours - of watching it.
