And finally, the movie serves up one final stinger to keep audiences waiting with baited breath until next year: the Eiffel Tower slams down in front of the team and a figure can just barely be seen standing atop the wreckage, waving to Fin.

Fin appears to recognise the person: given that it's mentioned earlier in the movie that series heroine Nova was in Paris, he's sure it has to be her. It's never made clear why Nova wasn't in this movie to begin with, though the fact that a) the film has a Nova substitute in the form of Fin's cousin, a similarly attractive brunette named Gemini and b) we only see Nova in the distance, suggests that perhaps scheduling conflicts were possibly to blame.

Still, Nova's return will surely be lauded by those who felt that her absence left a huge deficit in this movie's charm quotient.
