20 WTF Moments From The Resident Evil Movies

One bizarrely stubborn trope throughout the movie franchise is Alice's penchant for murdering dogs, who in fairness are attempting to eat her face off.

The first movie features the most memorable sequence, where she straight-up kicks a zombie dog in the face, Matrix-style. The second film then has her flick a cigarette to blow several dogs up, in the third movie she forces one dog to impale itself, snaps another's neck and electrocutes another, and the fourth film sees Alice face off against Las Plagas-infected dogs, at which point she shotguns one and kicks a shard of glass into the other's face.

The fifth film "sadly" broke the cycle, perhaps for fear of finally getting stale (ha!). Either way, it's definitely overdone and definitely awesome all at the same time.
