15. Johnny Cage Cameo (Resident Evil: Extinction)

Chase is a cowboy hat-wearing member of Claire Redfield's (Ali Larter) convoy, and is played by Linden Ashby, who you might recognise as the very same actor who played Johnny Cage in 1995's Mortal Kombat movie.

The cameo is of note because, of course, Mortal Kombat was directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, and Anderson has directed four of the six Resident Evil movies to date (though not this one), so he likely included Ashby as both a favour to him and a fun nod for fans of Anderson's films.

Considering that this was the first major theatrical release Ashby had appeared in for quite some time, it no doubt came as a pleasant surprise to many Mortal Kombat fans.
