18. Shorty Isn't Shorty - Scary Movie
The upcoming sixth Scary Movie will feature the return of most major legacy characters, including of course Shorty Meeks (Marlon Wayans).
The franchise typically has little concrete regard for character deaths, so despite being killed in the first Scary Movie, Shorty inexplicably returned in Scary Movie 2.
However, there's a hint in the new movie's trailer that Shorty is now actually dead for real, given that a golden bong memorial for him can be seen in the house of his sister Brenda (Regina Hall).
But how Shorty can be in the movie and dead?
It seems like Marlon Wayans might actually be playing Shorty's nephew, especially as the film appears to be substantially parodying the fifth and sixth Scream films, which of course introduced the Meeks-Martin twins.
Then again, continuity doesn't really count for anything in the Scary Movie franchise, so it's entirely possible Wayans is still playing Shorty... somehow.
