2. Throg - Thor: Ragnarok

After Thor becomes reacquainted with his brother Loki at the beginning of Ragnarok, Loki makes reference to the fact that he once turned his brother into a frog, and as much as this might sound like a throwaway gag, it actually does have a real basis in the comics.

Thor was indeed once turned into a frog by Loki and given the hilarious moniker Throg, and has also appeared in a surprising number of limited comic book runs over the last few decades.

Though there's virtually zero chance of Throg ever making an MCU appearance, as wildly entertaining as that would be, merely sneaking a Throg reference into one of these movies is an achievement in of itself.
