Hockey. Yeah, believe it or not Jason Voorhees fans, there was a time when hockey masks were used strictly for hockey-related purposes. Yeah, this isn't the first time the horror genre has ruined a seemingly harmless mask for us. John Carpenter famously had his future horror icon Michael Myers wear a slightly modified William Shatner mask as he slaughter his victims. And the list goes on, from; Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Donnie Darko, Black Sunday, the ChromeSkull films, The Purge, Phantom of the Paradise, The Rise of Leslie Vernon, Stage Fright and many more.
