The Line: "This heat's getting to me... I'll murder you momentarily. But first, I need a cool drink... of iced... water." How He Dies: Having fallen spectacularly through a glass skylight into a pool of toxic water, Penguin manages to emerge to attempt to kill Batman again, but fails, and succumbs rather graphically to his injuries, before his King Penguins drag him off into the water. There's a poetic tragedy to Penguin's death, and his foolhardy apparent belief that a glass of water will be enough to save him, despite his mouth gushing with blood and toxic waste is the final touch to his grotesque but not entirely unsympathetic characterisation.
