The Murder: With a captive bolt gun. Who: Carson Wells. By Whom: Anton Chigurh. Motive: Chigurh's a hitman, ordered to retrieve money of a drug deal gone awry. What Makes It Insane? Chigurh is one of the freakiest psychopaths in film history. In this particular scene, he talks with Carson for a bit, who tells Chigurh to go to hell. Suddenly, the phone rings, Chigurh puts his captive bolt gun on his lap and shoots Carson without batting an eye. He then picks up the phone and stoically starts his conversation with Llewelyn Moss.
