Anyone who has watched Death Note has secretly wished the same circumstances that befell protagonist Light Yagami happened to them. Let's face it, the idea of having the power of death in your hands has a certain morbid appeal to it. So appealing is it that we can't help keeping our own Death Note in the futile hope that one day it will work. And when it does, the world shall be shaped according to my design.
13. Making Time For Conventions
Anime is practically synonymous with conventions. These events allow fans to come together and interact with people with the same passion. You get to meet voice actors, attend special events, and spend way too much of your money on various anime and manga memorabilia. And of course who can forget about the cosplaying? There is a lot of fun to be had at these events, but fitting even just one or two into your schedule can be a lot of work, especially for the truly dedicated. If only you had more free time.
