21. Toby Trolls The Babysitter (Paranormal Activity 3)

The most memorable gimmick in PA3 is Dennis' decision to mount one of his cameras on an oscillating fan, giving him and the viewers an ever-moving view of the living room and kitchen. Katie and Kristi's cute babysitter goofs around with the kids, pretending to be a ghost under a bed sheet, before heading downstairs. The fan camera pans back to her while she's sat at a table and, suddenly, a figure in a white sheet is stood behind her. The audience is led to assume that it's probably Katie having some fun, but then the sheet collapses to the floor, startling the babysitter. Again, it's another one of those "How did they do that!?" moments and very effective.
