The Pitch... The monkeys are back, and this time it's a full scale war, after a group of human survivors threaten the growing nation of evolved apes. Plus Points Ignoring the usual trend of sequels, the cast has actually improved with Jason Clarke and Gary Oldman joining as leads, and James Franco heading out. Getting to see an actual war between the apes and humanity is also a major selling point, of course, and we might actually get another rare Planet Of The Apes sequel that doesn't actually suck. The Reservations... The production might be a little rushed - which is why Rupert Wyatt initially left - and that two rewrites could indicate story problems.
