24 Most Hotly Anticipated Movies Of 2014

1. The Hobbit: There & Back Again (December)

The Pitch... The final step in Peter Jackson's attempt to over-adapt The Hobbit (if you're feeling cynical,) and a money-spinning opportunity to see the resolution of the Company of Dwarves story, as well as the answer to how Jackson will bridge the gap between The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings. Plus Points Jackson's Return Of The King was the best of his LOTR films, and the Battle Of Five Armies and the destruction of Smaug will offer seriously exciting narrative points to punctuate the no-doubt three hours of walking around with angry dwarves. Oh, and Billy Connolly is in as a warrior king dwarf... The Reservations... Will it have 18 endings? Will it be four hours long? Probably, on both accounts. Which of these movies are you most excited for? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
