Despite the unfortunate silliness of the monster reveal at the end, It remains one of Stephen King's most popular and infamous novels, even with more casual fans. There's obviously just something very compelling about a creepy killer clown. It's just a shame Tim Curry isn't an option, but at least Fukunaga is a great choice to lead it.
