24 Predictions For This Oscar Season's Rotten Tomatoes Scores
18. Spectre (76%)
Predicted Critical Consensus: "If not up to the high standard set by Daniel Craig's best Bond films, Spectre is another visually stunning, smart and thrilling entry into the series, with an outstanding performance by Christoph Waltz." After Casino Royale and Skyfall ended up scoring some of the Bond series' best reviews (95% and 92% respectively), it would be unwise to expect yet another stone cold classic, because after all, how many Bond actors get to star in three indisputable classics? Though with director Sam Mendes and writer John Logan both returning the film likely won't end up with reviews similar to Quantum of Solace (which surprisingly still scored 65%), don't be shocked if the returns don't feel quite so fresh this time. With more old school elements being re-introduced along with the possibility of Blofeld rearing his head once again, it'll probably be more divisive than Royale or Skyfall, if still a damn fun time in of itself. As for awards? If Skyfall didn't get a Best Picture nomination, there's not much hope for this one.
