Despite all these many actors to have appeared in Marvel and DC properties, the most notable example is surely Ben Affleck, who has managed to land two leading superhero roles. He infamously made a tepid Daredevil which put the stoppers on that film starting a franchise. However, he has now taken on the role of Batman, something which was not met with much positivity at first although fans have warmed to him more and more as time has gone by. He dons the cowl for the first time in Batman V Superman. Hopefully, it will wipe away all lingering memories of his previous Marvel role.
