Djimon Hounsou's first role in the comic book movie world came in Constantine, the so-so Keanu Reeves vehicle based on DC's popular Hellblazer comics. Hounsou played Papa Midnite, a witch doctor who owns a night club (it was a weird film). Nine years later he turned up in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy as Korath the Pursuer, Ronan's henchman.
