25 Actors You Totally Forgot Starred In Classic Horror Franchises
7. Henry Cavill
The Franchise: Hellraiser
The Role: Mike in the series' eighth entry, 2005's Hellworld.
Why You Forgot: As pointed out earlier, the Hellraiser series had fallen a long way, particularly by the 2000s. With Hellworld, the series had been reduced to utilizing the idea of an MMO based on the series itself and the fallout of gaming addiction, all wrapped in a rather boring package that staked the franchise for a further six years before the worst of them all - 2011's Hellraiser: Revelations - killed it for the foreseeable future.
While Cavill may be blessed with holding the title of cinema's current Superman, it wasn't even a decade ago that the actor was still cutting his teeth in much smaller, forgettable fare like Hellworld. It's a testament to how fast careers in Hollywood can change when an actor can go from being in a DTV entry of a series who best days were long behind it to being the Man of Steel in a matter of years.
