Why You Forgot: The year after they proved to the world just how deep their love for Romero's work ran with Shaun of the Dead, Pegg and Wright turned up in the director's fourth Dead film. Land of the Dead may not have hit the same level of classic status as the first three films, but its core ideas, presentation and bigger budget helped turn it into an entertaining chapter in Romero's decades-long series.
In it, zombies have become a seemingly manageable threat to the point where people are unafraid enough to get their pictures taken with them. Underneath all the zombie makeup, it's pretty easy to fail to realize that the two longtime friends are making a cameo as the photo op zombies in the above scene without being told.
