25 Actors You Totally Forgot Starred In Classic Horror Franchises
4. Dana Carvey
The Franchise: Halloween
The Role: A news assistant in 1981's Halloween II.
Why You Forgot: At the time, Halloween II attempted to serve as a concrete end to Michael Myers' story so that the franchise could move towards the anthology feel of the self-contained Halloween III. While that experiment backfired and Michael Myers eventually returned to the series, the second film is still a suitably serviceable companion piece to the original, though far from such classic heights.
While the above scene is an alternate ending, Carvey can still be spotted early on the left holding the clipboard, wearing the same costume he can be seen in early in the actual film. While the role is incredibly minor and hard to catch unless pointed out, it's still notable for being his first film role several years before he would hit fame through Saturday Night Live.
