Carrie Fishers famous costume in Return of the Jedi, one requested by her because she was fed up of dressing in long flowing clothes in the first two movies, didnt always keep her nestled in. The metal framework didnt move with her and her breasts would often fall out, causing a wardrobe person having to make sure everything is ready for a take before the cameras rolled. The scene was rife with wardrobe malfunctions. During the dance sequence, the Twi'lek girl Oolas breast pops out the side of her top. Despite Lucas many tweaks of the original trilogy, it remains in the special editions. Also a dancer that Jabba drops into the Rancor pit loses her top too. Get it together costume designers, its a kids movie.
10. C-3POs Misfortune
Anthony Daniels, the man behind C-3POs mask, occasionally had moments of misfortune while in the suit. The very first time he put it on, the left leg piece shattered down through the plastic covering his left foot, stabbing him. In Return of the Jedi when C-3PO is having his eye ripped out by Salacious Crumb, Daniels suffered a panic attack and kept saying Get me up. They used that take. However, he did manage to shave his preparation time down from 2 hours to 10 minutes to get his suit on from the first movie to Revenge of the Sith. At least Lucas left his voice in too, after not even considering it an option at first.
