15. Great Odin's Raven (The Avengers)
In both the comics and Norse mythology, Odin has two ravens that he calls Huginn and Muninn and who act as spies for him.
They have actually appeared in every movie that Thor has appeared in to date in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the original Thor movie, they were seen perched above Odins throne during Thors initial failed coronation and were also seen by his bedside when he was in the Odinsleep. Then, in Thor: The Dark World, when Odin first appeared on screen on a balcony, he is shown listening to one of them presumably telling him about something that had happened when they were out acting as his eyes (such as the danger that was coming from Malekith and his allies).However, it was in the Avengers movie where it was most surprising to see them. On Earth, the pair flew past as Thor was arguing with Loki on top of a mountain after he had retrieved his troubled adopted brother from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s custody.
