25 Best Easter Eggs & References In The MCU So Far
9. No Raccoons Or Tree Creatures Were Harmed In The Making Of This Film
There was an adorable little Easter egg during the credits of Guardians of the Galaxy that those of you who waited around for the post-credits scene may just noticed - it was a funny piece of text amongst the rolling credits that simply read No raccoons or tree creatures were harmed in the making of this film.
Of course, this is referencing the fact that the Guardians of the Galaxy characters Rocket and Groot are a genetically modified raccoon and a humanoid tree-like creature respectively and, despite the fact that the vast majority of us (i.e. anyone who is an adult) are well aware of the fact that theyre nothing more than fictional characters produced using CGI, it might have put the minds of any children at ease if they had grown fond of them during the course of the movie (which, we imagine, they probably had, given how brilliant they were portrayed by Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel respectively).
