25 Best Easter Eggs & References In The MCU So Far

1. The Collector's Collection (Guardians Of The Galaxy)

Without any shadow of the doubt, the most fun we've had looking for Easter eggs was in Guardians of the Galaxy, when we were fully introduced to the Collector and his museum of rare trinkets, objects and species. We first met him in the mid-credits scene from Thor: The Dark World, where we also saw things like Adam Warlock's pod amongst his exhibits - but seeing what he had in all its glory in Guardians of the Galaxy was a real treat for Easter egg hunters. Howard the Duck, Cosmo the Space Dog, a space slug from "Slither", a Dark Elf and a Chitauri soldier were just some of the things we spotted - and there were even more - which made for a very fun scene inside the severed head of an ancient Celestial in the location known as "Knowhere" (some people even think they saw Beta Ray Bill in there, but that is both unconfirmed and unlikely). So there you have it - the twenty-five best Easter eggs and references in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date. Did you enjoy this article? Do you agree with the inclusions on this list?
