23. Surtur (Thor: The Dark World)

When the Convergence scenes were occurring at the climax of Thor: The Dark World, the nine realms became aligned, causing windows to open between them, allowing us to see in to them from Earth, and causing creatures to spill from one realm to another. In one particular scene, which looked down upon several circular portals leading to several different realms, one of the portals was clearly leading to the fiery realm of Muspelheim. Inside that portal, there was clearly a large fiery mass moving around and it is believed that it was the incomprehensibly powerful foe of Asgard, Surtur. In the comics, Surtur has the kind of galaxy-busting power that is more on a par with Odin - far above that of Thor. If, as expected, he makes an appearance in a future Thor movie - as this particular Easter egg may have been foreshadowing - Thor is in for one hell of a tough time.
