Film: The Force Awakens When: During the escape from Jakku Hey, just because it's not out yet doesn't mean we can't praise The Force Awakens' cinematography. The first teaser ended with this incredible shot of the Millennium Falcon arcing over the sands of Jakku before flying past a pair of TIE Fighters. More visually daring than anything we've seen in the earlier movies (even the loops in Empire's asteroid belt), this is going to look amazing in IMAX come December 18th.
