25 Film Sequels To Watch Out For In 2014

3. Horrible Bosses 2

Plot: Nick, Dale, and Kurt are now their own bosses after they successfully launch their own business. After a "slick investor" foils their plans, the trio decide to concoct a plan to kidnap the investor's son, demanding a ransom in order to regain control of their company. Horrible Bosses managed to be a funny movie even though it was incredibly formulaic, thanks to the excellent chemistry between Charlie Day, Jason Bateman, and Jason Sudeikis. If they can keep that chemistry going a second time around, then we should be in for a good time, but, comedy sequels of this kind tend to have the problem of repeating the same situations and rehashing the same jokes. When a comedy is largely built around one concept, it's hard to keep that concept fresh the second time around. Can Horrible Bosses be the rare exception to the rule? Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, and Jennifer Aniston are also coming back for the sequel. Meanwhile, Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine will be joining the cast as well. The thought of Christoph Waltz playing one of these "horrible bosses" actually sounds like a lot of fun. Perhaps Horrible Bosses 2 will be worth seeing after all. U.S. Release Date: November 26th
