Plot: As the Muppets go on a world tour, they wind up wrapped into a European jewel-heist caper with a Kermit the Frog look-alike, Constantine. Muppets Most Wanted will be a sequel to 2011's The Muppets and it's the eighth film in the Muppets franchise overall. Jason Segel bowed out of this one, saying he had done everything he needed to accomplish with the 2011 movie, But the good news is that Muppets Most Wanted will not be lacking when it comes to star power. While Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey are mostly TV stars than anything else, they each appear to bring a quirky amount of energy to the proceedings, judging from the trailer. If they weren't enough, there are also a slew of rumored cameo appearances: P. Diddy, Lady Gaga, Zach Galifianakis, Salma Hayek, Ray Liotta, Tom Hiddleston, Danny Trejo, Usher, and two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz will all be in the film one way or another. Plus, whereas the last film had a pretty generic "let's get the band back together" type plot, Muppets Most Wanted marks a striking resemblance to The Great Muppet Caper, which in my opinion, is the most fun Muppets film in the franchise. Nicholas Stoller, who co-wrote The Muppets with Jason Segel, came back to co-write this one with James Bobin (the director of The Muppets, also co-creator of HBO show Flight of the Conchords). Overall, Muppets Most Wanted looks like it could be a lot of fun. U.S. Release Date: March 21st
