Hype: The idea of Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels helmer Guy Ritchie directing a new take on King Arthur's sword in the stone story might have been too vulgar for words, but the director is a completely different prospect now. He's already done Sherlock Holmes with a more modern slant and The Man From UNCLE was far better than it was given credit for.

He knows how to make slick, swaggering movies, and in Charlie Hunnam, he's got a charismatic, good-looking lead to hang that attitude on. Plus, any opportunity to see Jude Law go full-evil is very much welcome.
