25 Most Hotly Anticipated Movies Of Summer 2017 - Ranked

24. Rough Night

Rough Night
Columbia Pictures

Release Date: June 16th

Billed As: The Hangover meets Very Bad Things meets Weekend At Bernies, basically. A bachelorette party weekend reuniting college friends goes badly awry when a male stripper is killed and have to cover it up.

Hype: Putting aside the fact that nobody seems to be mentioning how similar this looks to Peter Berg's black comedy Very Bad Things, there's enough here to be very happy about. The cast, led by Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon and Broad City's Ilana Glazer, is excellent (and should prove hilarious), and the script was part of the 2015 Blacklist, so that's a plus.

It's bound to be as outrageous as it is funny, and the opportunity to see both Demi Moore and Ty Burrell turn up adds another very welcome note.
