23. Compies Kill (The Lost World: Jurassic Park)
While trekking through the forests of Isla Sorna in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Dieter Stark - a Swedish hunter and Roland Tembo's second-in-command - leaves the group, who are resting, to use the bathroom ("the ladies room") and gets lost (his friend Carter is listening to headphones and did not hear Dieter telling him where he was going). While wandering, Dieter is set upon by a large pack of compsognathus (a species which he had earlier been very cruel to using a taser). He calls for help, but no one hears, as he has wandered too far from everyone apart from Carter, who is still listening to music, soon after getting lost. Dieter manages to repel the initial compie attack with loud noises and threatening behaviour, but they return and overwhelm him with sheer numbers, killing him behind a tree trunk, which ensures the grisly death isn't seen by the viewer.
