25 Most Powerful Comic Book Movie Heroes
15. Spider-Man (Spider-Man Movies)
Spider-Man has been portrayed by two different actors on the big screen - Tobey Maguire in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and Andrew Garfield in the more recent reboot. He seems to be at pretty similar levels of speed, durability and strength in each different franchise, but his best strength showing certainly came in the original trilogy; when Doctor Octopus set a speeding train full of people in motion, it was going to crash over the end of the track and kill everyone on board. Spider-Man use his webs and his own physical strength to bring the train to a standstill - albeit to the extent that it knocked him unconscious. He also held up a tram full of children using his webbing. His speed has been portrayed as seeing things happen in slow motion and gives him the ability to casually dodge bullets from close range, his durability allows him to take super-strength punches and slam in to brick walls without serious injury and his spider-sense alerts him to any danger he wasn't expecting.
