14. Spawn (Spawn)
Spawn was nowhere near as powerful in his movie as he is in his comic books, but he was still extremely formidable. He is Al Simmons, a military soldier/assassin who dies from a gas fire. He goes to hell and the Devil offers him a deal; if Simmons becomes his eternal servant and leader of his army in the armageddon, he will be able to return to Earth to see his fiancée, Wanda Blake. Simmons accepts the offer and is returned to Earth. Upon his return to Earth, he finds that he has a whole host of powers and abilities: He has massive strength and durability - enough strength, for example, to destroy an oncoming Mack Truck. He has the ability to fly. He has the ability to produce chains from his body, which he used to buzzsaw Violator's head off (Violator being a powerful demon). He can extend spikes and blades from his body in various sizes and types. He also let off energy streams in Hell that took out hundreds of other hellspawn. He could also use his cape to blend in with his immediate surroundings. He also defied the Devil and used his powers for good, hence his placing on this list!
