3. Superman (Superman Movies)
Superman has been portrayed on screen by no less than four actors - George Reeves, Christoper Reeve, Brandon Routh and, most recently, Henry Cavill - in four different continuities. Originating from the planet Krypton, Superman is brought up on Earth as Clark Kent and, under the yellow sun of the Earth, possesses powers such as flight, super-strength, super-speed, immense durability, freeze breath, heat vision and x-ray vision. Strength feats over the course of the different movies include lifting a continent sized block of Kryptonite (the material that actually weakens him) and catching a falling aircraft. His durability is such that he can brush off minigun fire without so much as blinking (even when it, literally, hits him in the eyeball) and can be smashed in to buildings without any visible damage. In the Christopher Reeve movies, he also demonstrated some crazy powers - such as the ability to kiss Lois Lane to make her lose her memory and flying around the Earth so quickly that time reversed. But the less said about those instances, the better.
