16. Risen - Tom Felton

Given the usual success rate of biblical movies, it's somewhat surprising that Kevin Reynolds' next project (after the excellent Hatfields & McCoys in 2012) is the tale of two Roman centurions - played by Joseph Fiennes and Tom Felton - who are charged with investigating rumours of Christ's resurrection in the 40 days following. Whether you're religious or not, the Bible does yield some great stories (if it didn't nobody would ever have paid any attention to it, after all) and the idea of the Roman empire facing insurrection over the rise of a powerful figurehead for the people is an interesting one that hasn't really been shown from that side before.
