3. Alice Through The Looking Glass - Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman & Timothy Spall

The first one might have been an explosion of colour and silliness, but the Alice franchise is already a billion dollar concern for Disney and it would make sense for them to make sure that the sequel inspires better critical reception than its predecessor. The first trailer didn't exactly put many minds at ease, as it looks very much like the same again, even with Tim Burton not directing. If anything it actually looks like they've dialled up the craziness - but then that's exactly what the fans of the first film will be looking for. This is another one with a significant Harry Potter cast presence with Helena Bonham Carter trading Bellatrix's wig for the Queen Of Hearts' giant head, Alan Rickman going from Snape to Caterpillar and Timothy Spall coming in as Bayard. In addition, Stephen Fry returns as the Cheshire Cat, Rhys Ifans is in as Zanik Hightopp and Toby Jones will play Wilkins.
