In the most Oliver Stone sounding of movies, the director with many, many political axes to grind is back telling the story of Edward Snowden, the former CIA contractor who leaked damaging information about the NSA's surveillance programmes around the world. It's a political tinder box story, with heavy exploration into governmental authority and control and the hot button issue of public surveillance for "the greater good" and it's bound to be an important, sombre affair.
