Predicted Critical Consensus: "Little more than a one-note joke about how many different things can cause Kevin James to fall over, Mall Cop 2 is lowest common denominator comedy at its near-worst." Anyone who goes to see this movie knows exactly what to expect, and surely nobody watching it nor anyone involved with its production honestly expects it to win good reviews. The original movie holds a 33% score, and as everyone knows, comedy sequels very rarely do better than what came before, compounded by the fact that Mall Cop 2 looks immensely lazy and criminally unfunny. It won't quite scrape worst of the year honours when it's all said and done, but it'll be one of the worst-reviewed films of 2015 at the time of its release.
