25 Predictions For This Summer's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

21. Mad Max: Fury Road (71%)

Predicted Critical Consensus: "Though its narrative doesn't quite measure up to its visuals, Fury Road fits snugly into the Mad Max canon thanks to thrilling action and strong performances from Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron." Director George Miller himself has freely admitted that his fourth Mad Max film is pretty light on plot and character development, focusing instead on what is essentially a 105-minute chase movie. Though that's music to the ears of the series' hardcore fans, not all critics will be seduced by the spritely visuals and gratuitous violence, so expect some light dissent which drags its score down a little bit. Even so, the action sequences and visuals are likely going to be praised by even the haters, and given that this is the most expensive R-rated movie in over a decade, it needs all the help it can get to be a success.
