25 Predictions For This Summer's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

18. Ted 2 (47%)

Predicted Critical Consensus: "While managing to recapture some of the original movie's magic, Ted 2 is for the most part another disappointingly lazy effort from Seth MacFarlane." The original Ted scored well with both critics (68%) and audiences, and though MacFarlane's sequel will certainly make bank at the box office, it's tough to imagine reviewers being anywhere near as enthusiastic this time around. Given the peculiar lack of Mila Kunis (due to her pregnancy) and MacFarlane's tendency to lazily rehash jokes, don't expect much in terms of originality here, and critics will be ready to pounce on what looks like a wildly unnecessary follow-up. Even so, 47% wouldn't be disastrous and the movie is pretty much critic-proof anyway, but don't be surprised if critics get their teeth out for the film and its rating is much, much lower than this.
