25 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Indiana Jones

15. A Disneyland Rollercoaster Makes A Cameo In Temple Of Doom

Skywalker Sound' s Ben Burtt, who was in charge of the sound design recorded roller coasters at Disneyland Park in Anaheim without their sound effects and music turned on for the mine cart scene.

14. The Last Crusade Had A Rat Deductible

Having lost actress Amanda Redman as their first choice for a role thanks to her fear of rats, the producers of the sequel made sure to check that they would be covered if their rodent stars had a similar aversion to filming. They asked for advice from Fireman's Fund insurers - in fear that filming would be held up, and potentially cost the production hundreds of thousands of dollars - who underwrote the world's first insurance policy with a 1,000-rat deductible.

13. Dan Aykroyd Has A Cameo In Temple Of Doom

Following on from his appearance in Steven Spielberg's film 1941, the SNL and Ghostbusters star plays Weber, the British officer who works at Nang Tao Airport in Shanghai, and leads Indy, Short Round and Willie to their plane after they are chased by Lau. He's not visible on screen for long, but the voice is a dead give-away. Interesting, the character is often wrongly called "Art" Weber after he was wrongly credited as such in Temple of Doom's DVD subtitles, which misinterpreted the line: "Ah, Dr. Jones, I'm, ah, Weber."
